This oil is virgin = unrefined - dark in colour and very odourous ( not everyone's cup of tea when used undiluted)
Roasted castor seeds which are ground & then boiled. Roasting increases the ash content & hence the darker colour. Its extracted without hexane.
Best for nourishing the scalp & promoting healthy hair growth.
suitable for all hair types including chemically treated and heat damaged hair.
highly versatile oil & may also be used to enrich dry, chapped skin but we recommend using it in, for e.g., a massage oil - a bit too strong odour, and a bit too dense to use on its own.
Very suitable for use in leave-in hair conditioners.
