Vitamin K liposome is ideal for cosmetic and personal care applications for designed to help reduction of dark eye circles. It has two primary functions - to support the blood (circulation and life-cycle ) and support the penetration of the skin ( liposomal wonders!)
Vitamin K, also known as phytonadione, is a fat-soluble vitamin created by the liver to ensure proper blood clotting and promoting capillary strength. Its relationship to the circulatory system makes it ideal for use as a cosmetic ingredient to help diminish vascular conditions that emerge as skin imperfections such as dark circles under the eyes. Small studies have also noted a reduction in the redness from rosacea, and broken capillaries.
Discussion The dark circles around (mostly under) the eyes is usually resultant from oxidised blood. the enzymatic reaction when the haemoglobin in the blood is oxidised results in a blue, almost purple color which becomes visible through the thin layer of skin around the eye. ( the thin layer of skin around the eye gets thinner as we age, alas). So this is where the dark under eye circles come from.
