CLEAR viscous liquid OIL SOLUBLE, odour nil to slight -any odour is sort of ozone like.
stable oil-soluble Vitamin C ester which has anti-oxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation. Topical use can mitigate the damaging effects of UV exposure. Studies have shown it to stimulate collagen production as well as clarifying and brightening the skin by inhibiting melanogenesis (the production of pigment) assisting a more even skin tone.
Does not irritate skin, but always patch test first
Usage: Typical 0.5-20% Some USA web sites advise it is safe to use at up to 30%.
Other jurisdictions place lower limits for commercial sale
Compounding notes. this is a very easy to use, very stable, highly bioavailable oil-soluble Vitamin hit. Easier to use, and more bioavailable than the oil soluble powder (vitamin C ester) - which will often leave a little residue that needs to be filtered out.
it is easily absorbed by the skin, and studies have indicated that the absorption rate is 16.5 times that of water-soluble vitamin C.
if you find it a little cloudy then warming it up will usually clarify it.
(One of the beauties of this is it will not (usually) cause colour change to yellow/brown over time.
Not tested on animals. Not for internal use.
